J: I hate the way Baristas project their voice when they talk to each other, like whoever is around is a part of their conversation.

N: I would like to discuss this more later. This movie is so cute, I think I am gonna cry [ed. note: I was watching 27 Dresses].

N: Basistas think their lives are sooo interesting, they just want to share them with the world.

J: I KNOW. Its like the only way they can communicate with each other is to engage everyone in the vicinity.

N: They do this thing where they are talking to their coworkers, but also looking around to see who is listening.

N: Possible topics: impossible roommates, land lord disputes, international travel experiences, "stalkers."

N: Also: Shift trade dramas.

J: And that rock n roll videogame.

N:Is there any way we could get money or recognition for such biting and incisive social observation?

J: If only!

N: Maybe a column in the local alternative weekly

J: Call it "sex in the city," or "city guys."

N: City guys! I am rolling on the floor laughing, and laughing out loud.
