C'mon Down to Youtube's Place for Trip Down the Ol' Memory Hole!

Calling this youtube "Racist Ad" makes it kind of like watching "When Animals Attack." You're on the edge of your seat the whole time wondering when things are going to fly off the handle and all of the sudden.... YOWZA!
Next on your tour of the 1980s Fear Factory, Bernard Shaw asking the very first question of the 1988 Bush-Dukakis debate.

Brooklyn State of Mind

Whenever you tell me about a new band that you heard, this is what I imagine in my mind.

Seriously, seriously, seriously!

A few thoughts:

1) This is NOT a parody clip from The New Ben Stiller Show.
2) I cannot stop watching the singer's wince-y, amazing babyfat face squeeze little poopballs out of his sphinxter into his afro-textile diaper.
3)Put your mind in the time and place this video was conceived.
4) Weird story: I watched this video on The Fader website a few days ago and shrugged. Then it popped into my head the other night before I was going to sleep (aka my "MindLab") and I thought, "Wow, The Fader are basically uncritical shills with very suspect taste." Only today, on the bus, did I think about it again and go, "WHAT THE FUCK THAT VIDEO IS SO NASTY."

Walking the Edge (1983)

Have you always wanted to see a movie where a former semi-pro baseball player looser played by Robert Forster drives a cab around Hollywood with his t-shirt tucked into his sweatpants? Oh yeah, he also gives everyone hugs because, he says, "Did you know you're supposed to get three hugs a day?" Oh, and one more thing, a multi-racial gang lead by Joe Spinell is trying to kill him.

Don't ever go to the batting cages with Spinell.
