Mix Tape

Here is a new mix tape. No Diana, but the pic kinda captures the vibe. There's some overlap from the last one.

Minor New York Groove Thing

Can you believe I was in city of New York for two weeks and only took 8 pictures? Well that is what happened.

Lisa and Pauly rrrule. We spent a few hang-overs together cracking each other up in a major way. I learned and confirmed many things from Lisa and Pauly. For example: Americans are not funny. So true, ask anyone. I know about 2 funny people in Chicago. The rest are radically unfunny.

Lisa knew how to ask questions that struck to the heart of the matter. Like, it's alright to want to party, but are you committed to sustainable partying? Her philosophy revolves around avoiding high pressure systems and maintaining low pressure ones. Good call. My sustainable party philosophy dovetails nicely: I subscribe to the minor-groove movement. When you're with your buds and you are getting down you not only have to be wary of high-pressure areas, but also buzz-kill zones. BKZs like waiting for the subway, or taking a really long cab ride lay in wait, hoping to strike your party DEAD. To keep the party going, you need to keep up a very minor groove. Think of a song, hum it, and bop or shuffle a little. If you're not into music, look around you; everything is funny (hint: if you are over the age of 25 everyone now looks like someone you once knew). Now go, guy, party yourself.
